Producing energy on vessels

KitVes aims to harness high
altitude wind to generate on-board power

High altitude wind is both more constant and stronger than low altitude wind. Furthermore, at deep sea, wind availability is generally higher, both in terms of speed and duration, in comparison to coastal areas. The KITVES solution strives to efficiently convert high altitude wind power, thus far an unexploited resource, into electrical power on vessels that can be used for auxiliary services, traction or both.
