SVMtec has been founded in 2004 as a spin-off company of the Institute of Aerodynamics and Gas Dynamics (IAG) of the University of Stuttgart. The industry's need for aerodynamic know-how and customized measurement solutions lead to the founding of SVMtec. Its main area of activity is in applied aerodynamics and T&M systems (test and measurement), where SVMtec offers a broad spectrum of services like Consultation, analysis and optimizing of aerodynamic systems. Preparation, support and evaluation of field and wind tunnel tests. Determination of wind loads on buildings and structures. Development and calibration of aerodynamic probes. Design, construction and setup of test and measurement systems. Application of sensors and data acquisition. Programming of automated test and measurement routines.
